Chris X., West Park Church Co-op MVP

Chris X. is the MVP of West Park Church Co-op. My introduction to occurred at the Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew, where he silently entered and exited my field of vision during the early morning hours.

Chris is usually en route to one task or another that would likely go undone if he were interrupted in his pursuits.

More of an action-oriented rather than a discussion-oriented person, Chris is a pleasant and calming presence.

Most memorable quote? "Fuck her!"

Favorite food? Coffee.

Who's Who in OCCUPY NYC 2012: Church of St. Paul & St. Andrew

Church of St. Paul & St. Andrew

Church of St. Paul & St. Andrew is an honorary Zuccotti Park veteran.

An initial oasis and respite of displaced Occupiers, Pastor K allowed the Occupy Wall Street community to partake of a nomadic experience consisting of a daily routine of establishing "camp sites" that would magically disappear into the balcony pews each morning.

At night the sanctuary was filled with Occupiers peacefully chatting and settling down to rest in a cavernous space filled with sculpture, lighting fixtures, organs and a rich, opulant decor that was awe inspiring.

Most memorable quote? Silence.

Favorite food? Black beans.

West Park Church

West Park Church is an honorary Zuccotti Park veteran.

As the temporary home of scores of Occupiers--first during the exodus from the gracious hospitality received from St. Paul St. Andrew Church literally just steps away and again as the home of West Park Church Co-op--Pastor Bob Brashear provided a priceless opportunity to "Occupy" a sacred and historic space.

In addition to being a gorgeous religious work of art and architectural design, West Park Church is a serene and peaceful space of spiritual significance that defies description in this medium. You'd have to visit to experience it for yourself.

Most memorable quote? The sound of the wind and rain in the canyon that can only be heard in the loft.

Favorite food? Lentils.

Who's Who in OCCUPY NYC 2012: Henry X.

Henry X., Comfort Special Forces

Henry X. is our Comfort Special Forces and decorated Zuccotti Park veteran.

Dry skin? Need that shea butter? Henry's got it. Hand warmers? Find Henry. Wool socks?! Find Henry!

Henry is currently the steward of a large supply of large men's shoes. Running shoes, boat shoes, rubber mucklucks and other assorted treasure. He also manages to procure blankets like nobody's business.

Most memorable quote? "Uh, I just can't stand the mess!"

Favorite food? Peanut Butter!

Who's Who in OCCUPY NYC 2012: Raven X.

Raven X., Jack of All Trades

Raven X. is a veteran of Zuccotti Park and a jack of all trades. There's a lot of things that Raven knows how to do. He's the Bo Jackson of Occupy NYC.

Originally from Chicago, Raven made his way to NYC for the ideology of Occupy. He also makes a pretty descent Rigatone Alfredo.

Most memorable quote? "You're awesome!"

Favorite food? Tortilla chips.

Who's Who in OCCUPY NYC 2012: Raphael X.

Raphael X., Resident Security Dude

Raphael X. is our resident Security Dude and a Zuccotti Park veteran.

Usually, Raphael just appears out of thin air--somewhat similar to store security trying to prevent what the retail field refers to as "shrinkage".

Most memorable quote? "Is there any meat in that dish?"

Favorite food? Meat.

Who's Who in OCCUPY NYC 2012: Requiem X.

Requiem X., Artist

Requiem X. is an artist and Zuccotti Park veteran.

Requiem is always willing to lend a hand. Whether its pushing a wheelchair for a friend or taking minutes at a meeting, he is always ready to help.

Aside from rising earlier than the vast majority of Zuccotti Park Occupiers, his other talents include appearing at Food Tent just as the hot breakfast arrived.
